In 2008 the Kent VFW Post #6785 and the Panther Lake Post 11329 Consolidated using the Kent Post #6785 and became the Kent Meridian Post. The Panther Lake Post was Chartered in 1991. A group of Veterans headed by Cal Horman split off from the Renton Post to form the Panther Lake Post.
