Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kent-Meridian Post 6785

VFW Post 6785 has a program for disposal of United States Flags which are badly worn and/or torn, and are no longer usable for respectful display. We have a large number of flags which are available for Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships to use in ceremonial disposal. We have a ceremony for this purpose, which can be adapted for your unit’s use and Post members who are willing to assist in the ceremony and will bring flags for that use. Our feeling is that our Scouting units don’t always get this opportunity and it is one of the ways we can be of service to our community.

We will also take flags for disposal. You may drop them off at a meeting or email the Webmaster.
