Honor Guard Policies Post 6785

Honor Guard activities are concerned with Memorials and Funerals conducted by Post 6785 at Tahoma National Cemetery and private cemeteries for deceased veterans.

Posting the Colors 1

The Color Guard and Honors Formations Chair coordinates other Flag ceremonies and parade activities for other events involving post members. Examples are: Memorial Day and Veterans Day Ceremonies at Tahoma National Cemetery; and parades, such as Kent Cornucopia Days and the Auburn Veterans Day Parade. Other events have included presentation of colors at Emerald Downs, participating in the Washington Patriotic Day ceremony, and showing typical color ceremonies for Scout units.
