Join us on Saturday, 13 January at 1300 hrs. to honor the eight contestants who won the VFW Post 6785 Youth Essay Competition.  This event will present awards to the Post winners and acknowledge the District winners from our Post as well.

We would like to have as many 6785 members as possible attend this event at Shakey’s in Fairwood.  This event will be “business casual” and we ask you to wear your hat and if you have it, a VFW shirt if you have one.

We expect the event to take about 1.5 to 2 hours.

A sign-up sheet is posted on our website to get an accurate head count to order food.  Please make time to join us for this event.
